Talari customers attending to discuss their SD-WAN deployment successes
SAN JOSE, Calif. – May 7, 2015 — Talari Networks, Inc., the leading provider of Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) solutions that help businesses perform brilliantly with the creation of a smart network that proactively manages capacity, quality and performance, today announced that it will be presenting its SD-WAN technology test results on a panel titled “SD-WAN Working Group Update” at the Open Networking User Group (ONUG) Spring 2015 on May 13. The feature verification tests were conducted by ONUG’s official testing partner Ixia and against requirements created by the ONUG SD-WAN Working Group.
ONUG is made up of IT business leaders interested in exchanging ideas and best practices for implementing open infrastructure solutions. Talari, a member of ONUG’s SD-WAN Working Group, is also sponsoring the ONUG Spring 2015 cocktail reception from 5:00-7:00pm on May 13.
Additionally, the following Talari customers will be attending the event to share their Talari-powered SD-WAN deployment successes:
- Benevis, a leading healthcare practice services company, has helped children’s dental provider Kool Smiles overcome technology challenges, increase efficiency and improve the dental experience in 30 offices located in underserved communities around the country. Benevis attributes Talari’s SD-WAN technology for a reduction in overall network spend by 39 percent for selected offices and has replaced MPLS in all Talari-powered offices.
- The Hain Celestial Group, a leading organic and natural products company with 30 locations in North America, Europe and Asia, is using Talari’s SD-WAN technology to deliver superior user experience for VoIP and video calls and applications. Using Talari, the company also reduced the cost of usable bandwidth by 10-15 times, gained ability to use backup circuits full time, leveraged broadband Internet for faster, lower-cost connections, eliminated calls to the service desk about network issues and was liberated from single-carrier dependency.
