Ehud Gelblum, Ph.D. is a Managing Director and US Head of Technology Research. Ehud heads the US Tech Research team while covering the Communications Equipment, Data Networking and Wireless Equipment industries. He joined Citigroup in October 2013 following four years at Morgan Stanley and seven years at JP Morgan, where he covered the same sectors. Prior to JP Morgan, Ehud worked at Andor Capital on the buy side, where he covered global telecom services. From 1998-2001, he covered telecom at Merrill Lynch and then at CSFB. Ehud is currently ranked number one by Institutional Investor magazine in both of the sectors he covers as well as ranked number one in the Greenwich poll. He has been the number one ranked analyst 14 times in Institutional Investor magazine over the course of his career and was the only analyst ranked number one in two sectors for 5 of the past 6 years as well as being top ranked in other investor polls. Prior to joining Wall Street, Ehud was a researcher at AT&T Bell Labs from 1993-1998 where he received six patents in the fields of digital communications and information theory. Ehud holds Ph.D. and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Columbia University, and undergraduate degrees in economics from The Wharton School and electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
