Each ONUG Working Group will produce a requirements document authored by the chairperson(s) and/or author(s). Working group requirement input is to be voted upon by all members. The final use case requirements white paper will first be published at an ONUG Conference, and then distributed to the industry at large. Based on the ONUG Working Group Lifecycle, ONUG demonstrators will develop PoCs of the ONUG Working Group Use Cases from the previous ONUG conference. In the event that an ONUG demonstrator is ready to demonstrate a PoC ahead of this schedule, they are welcome to do so. Interoperable PoCs demonstrated at ONUG will be recorded, made available on the ONUG website, and promoted by the ONUG Staff.
Each ONUG Working Group chairperson will lead a presentation/discussion at an ONUG Conference, detailing the working group use case requirements and progress. The chairperson may invite active members of the group to participate in the presentation, with the ideal panel to include representatives from the IT, vendor, academia, and/or standards/open source communities. Note that during the ONUG WG UC sessions, ONUG will be asking the community to prioritize the top ten requirements via real time voting. Therefore, it’s important that the top ten be discussed and the audience given the opportunity to ask questions.
