The software defined wide area network (SD-WAN) revolution is well underway in response to evolving needs of enterprises wanting to connect their offices and mobile workers to applications in the cloud. Service providers are key catalyzers of that revolution by embracing network-as-a-service paradigm, which allows them to quickly roll out and scale even highly customized connectivity offerings.
Orange Business Services in March announced it is integrating Riverbed’s SD-WAN solution SteelConnect into its hybrid network offering. The two companies are working together to develop a virtual network function (VNF) of Riverbed SteelConnect, and the SD-WAN solution will enable Orange customers to simplify the management of their hybrid networks and optimize the performance of both corporate and cloud applications.
Join this session to learn what SD-WAN based services Orange is planning to launch in the coming months and what role Riverbed’s SteelConnect plays in that strategy.
