The Open Networking market has changed rapidly since the October ONUG hosted by JP Morgan Chase. The definition of Open Networking has expanded to include white box networking, network virtualization or overlays, programmable networks, software-defined wide area networking, Open IP Storage and automation plus auto provisioning via Linux. Open Networking is now increasingly being viewed as the key technology to enable software defined data centers to reap its economic efficiency and self-service provisioning promise. In this keynote Nick discusses the state of the open networking market and shares deployment status gather from the ONUG community.
