Driving the Transition to Open Software-Defined Infrastructure
December 3, 2015 – Boston – The Open Networking User Group (ONUG) today announced the 2016 conference program. The announcement falls on the heels of the largest ONUG Conference to date and reinforces the commitment to empower the collective IT business leader voice by broadening the ONUG IT Community, including new industry sectors, and expanding to new geographic locations.
In 2016, Intuit will host the first ever ONUG west coast conference when ONUG Spring takes place in their Mountain View, California headquarters on May 9th-11th. The spring conference will be more exclusive, with 200 invited IT business leaders and a limited number of demonstrator companies.
ONUG Fall, a larger event open to 700 attendees, will then return to New York City at the Metropolitan Pavilion on October 24th-26th.
The bicoastal conferences will continue the collaborative dialogue on the impending business impacts of open IT frameworks, based upon open software-defined infrastructures.
“The growth of the ONUG Community parallels a burgeoning industry awareness of the advantages of open software-defined infrastructures within organizations,” said Nick Lippis, Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of ONUG. “Targeted at high-level IT business leaders, the 2016 ONUG Conferences will not only extend our reach geographically but reinforce our commitment to driving open IT frameworks and tracking the corresponding impact on IT consumption and vendor business models.”
ONUG Spring and Fall will feature:
- IT Business Leader Keynotes and Panel Discussions
- ONUG Board Fireside Chats
- ONUG Town Hall Meeting
- The ONUG Great Debate
- Real World Case Studies
- Invaluable insights from ONUG Working Groups
