February 21, 2018 – Boston – ONUG today announced the appointment of two new board members including Manish Vipani, a cloud leader and chief architect and Sam Gambarin, an expert on cloud applications platforms, both at Kaiser Permanente.
ONUG is an industry group working for greater IT system interoperability and committed to facilitating engagement among IT business leaders as well as the vendor, cloud, and service provider communities. The ONUG Board now includes 23 IT executives representing numerous companies and industries, including Bank of America, Cigna, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, eBay, FedEx, Fidelity Investments, Gap Inc., GE, Intuit, JPMorgan Chase, Kaiser Permanente, Morgan Stanley, Pfizer, State Street Bank, TD Ameritrade, UBS, and Yahoo (now Oath).

In his current role at Kaiser Permanente, Manish is responsible for cloud services, enterprise architecture, information management, shared services and enterprise integration. He has held senior management roles at companies such as Aon, Saqqara, Vianeta Communications and GlobalEnglish working in application development, project management, infrastructure management, product management, enterprise architecture, and IT strategy. Manish is a seasoned transformation leader with experience across multiple industry verticals and has the unique ability developing and operationalizing large-scale strategies.
Sam has spent his time at Kaiser Permanente running enterprise infrastructure, service oriented architecture, service oriented infrastructure, cloud application integration, and shared technical services. Sam has more than 20 years of IT experience, including positions at Razorfish, AT&T, Travelocity, and NASA. He is proven results-driven leader unafraid to get involved in the details regarding initiatives concerning strategy, practices, processes, solution-building, and operations. With his expertise, Sam helps expand the ONUG scope to encompass a stronger focus on cloud integration.
