Neal Secher Joins Select Group of Prominent IT Leaders Committed to Facilitating Engagement among IT Business Leaders and the Vendor Community
October 26, 2015 – Boston – The Open Networking User Group (ONUG) today announced the addition of Neal Secher, Managing Director and Head of Network Architecture at BNY Mellon to the ONUG Board. Secher will work with Board members to further influence the widespread deployment of open networking solutions. The ONUG Board now comprises 18 IT executives representing numerous companies and industries, including Bank of America, Cigna, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, FedEx, Fidelity, Gap, Inc., Intuit, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Pfizer, UBS and Yahoo.

Neal has spent his career working at leading firms within the financial services technology industry and has extensive experience with designing network architectures for cloud systems, large-scale data centers, latency-optimized network fabrics, software defined networks, secure business-to-business and Internet perimeters, and advanced instrumentation tool-sets. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Neal served as an Executive Director and Head of Network Architecture at Morgan Stanley. Previous to his time at Morgan Stanley, Neal was a Senior Vice President and Head of Network Architecture and Engineering for the Systematic Trading Infrastructure group at Citi. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from New York University and is pursuing an MBA from Fordham University.
ONUG Fall 2015, hosted by Morgan Stanley and New York University is scheduled to take place at NYU’s Kimmel Center, November 3rd – 5th.
