ONUG Spring 2020 to Feature Mix of Cloud First & Enterprise Speakers as the Community Focuses on Enterprise Cloud

ONUG Staff and Board are in high gear for ONUG Spring in Dallas with corporate sponsors United Technologies, Cigna and FedEx. We’re putting the final touches on the conference agenda. At ONUG Spring, the speakers will be a mix of cloud first and traditional enterprise players as the community focuses on Enterprise Cloud. This will be a cloud-native-meets-the-large-enterprise type of ONUG. The corporate sponsors of ONUG Spring formed a collaborative via ONUG with PNC, Pfizer, Kaiser Permanente, UBS, et al., DevSecOps teams.

The collaborative is developing an automated approach to track governance throughout the entire software delivery process so that organizations can attest to the integrity of assets and to the security of running applications. This group’s deliverable is an automated process for tracking governance throughout the deployment pipeline by providing a reference architecture to help guide vendors and organizations design and implement automated governance throughout the delivery pipeline in the cloud era. This will work will guide the supply chain of enterprise technologies into the large enterprise market. ONUG Spring is a special edition ONUG focused on Automated Cloud Governance (ACG) where the framework will be revealed and invited ONUG Spring sponsors will demonstrate their approaches.

Invited sponsoring vendors of ONUG Spring in Dallas will gain exclusive, early, special access to the automated governance reference architecture in early April during a private workshop where you will interact with the authors and contributors of the framework during the full-day workshop at Work-Bench’s board room located at 7 W 18th St, Floor 5, New York, NY. This early access is to be used to develop a proof of concept demonstration at ONUG Spring that will receive preferential program scheduling and marketing. In addition, we have a great cocktail/dinner reception the evening before the workshop where everyone will get to know the CISOs and DevSecOps professionals in a private social setting. To request to get involved, fill out this form, and ONUG will get in touch with you.

The Automated Cloud Governance Collaborative is but one aspect of ONUG Spring on which we’re working. So many community members requested that we schedule breakfast IT executive fireside chats that are career-building oriented. We have it planned for May 7th at 7:30 a.m., and we have one exclusively for women in high tech. There’s a big AIOps for multi-cloud demonstration, Cloud Native DevOps track, automation lessons learned, network automation best practices, how to deal with tech debt, institutionalizing DevSecOps in the large enterprise, SD-WAN 2.0 for 5G and edge computing, and so much more.

We look forward to two great days in Dallas on May 6th and 7th. Register now and make sure you don’t get shut out when ONUG sells out.
